Create a package

You may not have access to some or all of this functionality, depending on your role. See Roles.

To create a package

  1. Click the Release Pipeline sidebar menu item.
  2. Select the type of application design (sequenced or topology ) in which you need to create a package, from the drop-down list on the left side of the screen. (Sequenced Designs is selected by default).
  3. Click the application design version for which you need to create the package.
  4. Click the gear icon next to the drop-down list on the right side of the screen and select Create Package.
  5. Enter a name and description for the package. The package name is displayed automatically. You can change it, if required.

    The application design and version are displayed, but cannot be changed.

  6. Click Create. A package will be created in the Development stage.

Note List properties are available in packages during Release Automation, only for Sequenced Designs.
