Add server components

You can add existing server components here. To add server components:

  1. Navigate to Release Automation > Server Configurations.
  2. In the Server Configuration page, click the gear in the right pane and select Add Server.
  3. In the 'Add Server' dialog, specify the following details:
Field Description
Display name Name of the server.
Description A brief description of the server.
IP Address/Hostname

IP address of the machine on which the server is being configured.

Note :

    1. It is assumed that when creating a server, you would have used a valid machine name/IP address.
    2. The following values are allowed in this field:
      • alphanumeric characters
      • @
      • #
      • &
      • $
      • - (hyphen)
      • . (period)
      • (space)

 
User ID User name with which the server will be accessed.
Password Password to access the server.
Private Key

Private key to log on to the machine.

Note Private key is case-sensitive.
  1. Click Create.
