General Access

Release Notes

SSH can be unstable

This device's SSH implementation has been found to be unstable in some instances. The work-around is to uncheck SSH as a protocol to be used for this driver.

Configuration Deployment may cause duplicate configuration options

Deploying certain configuration commands may cause the device to produce multiple duplicate configuration lines. For example, the command "system management snmp trap create " has been seen to generate multiple configuration statements.

Workaround:

Unless creating a new configuration using a similar command, remove commands like this from the configuration before deploying the configuration to the device.

Syslog Configuration and Change Detection

Release Notes

Real-time change detection available only through Telnet/SSH proxy

The device does not support syslog or AAA and therefore cannot provide any real-time change detection through those means. The telnet/SSH proxy is the only mechanism in TrueControl that will result in automatic detection of changes to the device configuration.
