Retrieve Running Configuration

Release Notes

Invalid configurations may be due to TFTP failures

The Juniper Redline does not report any failure conditions when exporting a configuration via TFTP. If the device is reporting invalid configurations this may be due to unreported TFTP failures by the device.

Workaround:

Capture the session log of a snapshot and look for the "export" commands being run on the device. Check to see whether the TFTP server being specified in the command is correct or not. If it is correct, you may need to manually debug TFTP transfers from the device to the NAS server. Alternately, edit the device and disable TFTP and the configuration will be captured directly from the CLI session.
