Hostnames with blank characters

The driver does not support the management of any device whose hostname contains blank characters. If blank characters are included in the hostname, the snapshot task, as well as other tasks, will fail with timeout errors.

Password Management

Password deployment only changes telnet password

The device's password maintainance commands only allow changing of the local password, not those supported by RADIUS. Since local password are only optional and only used during telnet, changing of ssh usernames and passwords are not supported by the Deploy Password task.

Password rollback is not possible

When an invalid password is deployed, HP NA attempts to perform a rollback of all other affected passwords. Some supported devices prohibit re-deployment of the last three passwords used to manage a device. As a result, password rollback could fail, causing a partial deployment of selected passwords if an invalid password is deployed.
