General Access

Release Notes

SCP Transfers

Some older versions of Cisco IOS an have problems with SCP transfers; NA only supports a device SCP server for IOS versions 12.3 and later. It is recommended that SCP and TFTP are both enabled so TFTP will be used in the case that SCP fails.

SSH support

Some older versions of Cisco IOS support only sshv1 while newer versions support both v1 and v2. It may be necessary to select the correct protocol for a given device, since NA will only try one ssh version before failing over to telnet. If SSH connection problems are seen, verify what version of SSH is supported on the device and select accordingly.

File System

Release Notes

Listing of image files during a software update

The Update Device Software task enables you to update a device's OS software. When performing a software update, the FileSystem diagnostic provides a list of image files. This enables you to select image files for removal before you run the Update Device Software task. When upgrading the Aironet C1310, the checkbox settings for the image files are ignored due to limited support in the driver. Other Aironet devices should not be affected by this issue.
