Nortel VPN Concentrator models 1700/1740/1750/2700/5000, os version 07_00.062

The Nortel VPN Concentrator traditionally uses a string, terminated by the "greater than sign" (>) to delimit the default prompt for the basic administrative login, and the hash sign (#) to delimit the default prompt for the privileged administrative login. These prompts are fully customizable and can include special characters before the terminating character. Users should not modify the device prompt to include either the "greater than sign (>) or he hash sign (#). Assigning these characters to the prompt may result in a various task failures.

Device can become unresponsive is accessed with SSHv2

When an attempt is made to connect to a Nortel VPN device via SSHv2, the device can become unresponsive ("hang") and not return a valid response. If you see this occuring, you should disable SSHv2 in NAS.

Nortel VPN Concentrator models 1700/1740/1750/2700/5000, os version 07_00.062
