Searching the Help

To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.

Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to view the status of processes and services

In Windows 2008:

Select Start > Programs > HPE Operations Manager i > Administration > HPE Operations Manager i Status.

In Windows 2012:

Press Ctrl + Esc and start typing HPE Operations Manager i Status. Then click Enable HPE Operations Manager i in the search results.

In Linux:

Enter the following command: /opt/HP/BSM/tools/bsmstatus/bsmstatus.sh

You can check the status by using the serverStatus.jsp tool located at /opt/HP/BSM/topaz/serverStatus.jsp (Linux) or <OMi_Home>\topaz\serverStatus.jsp (Windows)
