Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Annotations
The Annotations tab in the Event Details pane displays a list of the annotations attached to the selected event. Annotations are comments and observations relating to the event that help the event owner understand what the underlying problems are and how to fix them. Click the Add button to add an annotation to the selected event.
Note Annotations exceeding 101,298 characters are truncated in the Event Details pane.

In the Event Browser, open the Annotations tab.

An annotation is a free-text attachment to the description of an event used to provide information that may be useful to solve the cause of this event. You can use the Annotations tab in the Event Details pane to add, view, and manage the annotations associated with an event. The annotations text field also supports URLs and hyperlinks (Ctrl+click).
The Event Browser displays icons in the annotations column N to indicate that annotations exist for a selected event. For more information about the icons used in the Event Browser, see Use the Event Browser (HTML).
Tasks

Open the Event Browser to display the list of known events:
Workspaces > Operations Console > <select a perspective>

In the Event Browser, select an event.

From the Event Details pane, open the Annotations tab.
Click Add Annotation from the Annotations toolbar to open the Create New Annotation dialog box.

Enter the information text.

Click OK.

Open the Event Browser to display the list of known events:
Workspaces > Operations Console > <select a perspective>

In the Event Browser, select all the events to which you want to add this annotation.

Right-click one of the selected events and click Add Annotation to open the Create New Annotation dialog box.

Enter the information text.

Click OK.
