Management Packs

Management packs are add-on content that work with Operation Manager i (OMi) and enable you to monitor various applications, databases, or servers in your environment. Management packs discover application domains and proactively monitor the domains for availability and performance issues. They include, for example, management templates, aspects, policy templates, performances dashboard, troubleshooting tools, auto remediation flows, and topology-based event correlation (TBEC) rules.

Management packs help to monitor, detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues in the IT domain. They also increase the productivity by optimizing and automating tasks and they reduce the mean time to resolve (MTTR) incidents. Management packs are available for infrastructure, cloud, containers, databases, middleware, and more. They are offered in Premium and Standard categories.

To update a management pack to a later version, download the management pack from the Marketplace and install the pack manually as described in the management pack documentation.
