SAP Discovery by JCO Page

The SAP Software Configuration Discovery Activity contains:

Activity Name Page > Define Credentials Page > SAP Ports Scanning Page > SAP Discovery by JCO Page > SAP Java Topology by JMX Page > SAP Topology by Shell Page > Schedule Discovery Page > Summary Page

Select the check box and click Import file... to locate the appropriate SAP JCo files as follows:

JCo version 3.x (3.07 and later)

• sapjco3.jar

• sapjco3.dll

JCo version 2.x

• sapjco.jar

• sapjcorfc.dll

• librfc32.dll

Select the check box to enable SAP ABAP Topology discovery.

Click the button beside Discovery Options to display the available options.

• Discover RFC Connections

  Select this check box to enable discovery of RFC connections of the SAP system.

• Discover SAP Server Profiles

  Select this check box to enable discovery of SAP profiles by querying the SAP database.

• Report Software Components as configuration file

  Select this check box to enable reporting of Software Components as a configuration file. If unselected, each Software Component is reported as a separate CI.

Select the check box to enable SAP Applications discovery.

Click the button beside Discovery Options to display the available options.

• SAP application components discovery

  Select this check box to enable discovery of SAP application components.

• SAP transactions discovery

  Select either or both check boxes to enable discovery of active transactions, or all transactions, as required.

• Discover transaction changes

  Select this check box to enable discovery of transaction changes. Complete the following to specify the time period for the discovery:

  • Transaction changes interval; this is the number of days before the current date

  • Transaction changes start date

  • Transaction changes start time

  • Transaction changes end date

  • Transaction changes end time

Select the check box to enable SAP Business Layer discovery.

Select the check box to enable SAP Solution Manager Topology discovery.
