Method Detail

getBundle

java.util.ResourceBundle getBundle(java.lang.String bundleName)

Returns the default resource bundle. Each resource bundle is associated with a properties file. The properties file for the default bundle is the name of the bundle with a properties extension. For example, MyBundle.properties

Parameters:

bundleName - Bundle name

Returns:

The Resource Bundle

getBundle

java.util.ResourceBundle getBundle(java.lang.String bundleName,
                                 java.lang.String context)

Returns the resource bundle object for the specified locale. It the locale does not exist, the default resource bundle is returned. For ResourceBundle MyBundle_fr, the property file is MyBundle_fr.properties

Parameters:

bundleName - The base name

context - The locale

Returns:

ResourceBundle

getBundle

java.util.ResourceBundle getBundle(java.lang.String bundleName,
                                 java.lang.String[] contextArr)

Returns a resource bundle for one of the specified locales. Searches for resource bundles that match the locales in the array and returns the first one found.
After the bundle is returned, no further use is made of the array. For example, if the output is aimed at an Australian market, the contextArr might contain values, AUS, GBR and USA, that is, get the Australian resources if they exist. If not found, get the British, and if not found, get US English. If all these resource bundles exist, getBundle returns MyBundle_AUS. Thereafter, searching for a key, if it does not exist in MyBundle_AUS, it is returned from the default MyBundle. MyBundle_GBR and MyBundle_USA are not searched.

Parameters:

bundleName - The base name

contextArr - An array of locales

Returns:

The Resource Bundle

getProbeManagerIP

java.lang.String getProbeManagerIP()

Returns the IP of the host running the probe manager.

Returns:

The IP string of the Probe Manager

getProbeGatewayIP

java.lang.String getProbeGatewayIP()

Returns the IP of the host running the probe gateway.

Returns:

The IP string of the Probe Gateway

getProbeGatewayID

java.lang.String getProbeGatewayID()

Returns the name of the current probe. The probe identifier is used to identify the probe when sending results to the server.

Returns:

Probe's name

getProbeManagerDomain

java.lang.String getProbeManagerDomain()

Returns the ProbeManager's domain.

Returns:

The Domain name of the Probe Manager

getDefaultLanguage

java.lang.String getDefaultLanguage()

getCollectorsLanguage

java.lang.String getCollectorsLanguage()

isIpInScope

boolean isIpInScope(java.lang.String ipToLookFor)

Checks if the IP address is handled by the current probe.

Parameters:

ipToLookFor - IP String to examine

Returns:

True if IP is in scope

getProbeVersion

Version getProbeVersion()

Returns a Version object representing the version and build numbers of the installed Probe

Returns:

The version object
