public enum CreateMode extends Enum<CreateMode>
The creation mode determines the behavior of the UCMDB with respect to existing CIs and relations. A CI exists if the values of its key attributes are the same as those of an CI defined in the UCMDB. A relation exists if there is a relation of the same type between the same CIs.

    • FAIL_IF_EXIST

      public static final CreateMode FAIL_IF_EXIST
      Fail the creation of the whole batch if any of the supplied CIs or relations already exist.
    • IGNORE_EXISTING

      public static final CreateMode IGNORE_EXISTING
      Create non-existing CIs and relations and ignore existing ones. Do not update properties of existing elements.
    • UPDATE_EXISTING

      public static final CreateMode UPDATE_EXISTING
      Create non-existing CIs and relations and update the non-key properties of existing ones.
