HP WebInspect is the industry's leading Web application security assessment solution designed to thoroughly analyze today's complex Web applications and Web services for security vulnerabilities.
The integration of HP WebInspect's web application security testing with HP Quality Center's (QC) defect management system enables customers to seamlessly submit security issues detected by WebInspect's web application analysis into QC so they can be managed like other software defects.
WebInspect has a send-to option for vulnerabilities. Quality Center is one of the send-to options, whereby defects can be created.
WebInspect and Quality Center Integration v1.0 was only available via direct SQL commands. Version 2.0 also allows use of Open Test Architecture (OTA).
