Description
HPE Operations Bridge Reporter (OBR) relies on RTSM for the discovery of all managed entities' configuration items (CI). OBR imports CI instances and attributes from RTSM at a predefined interval (daily by default).
OBR is a reporting solution that collects dimension information from Universal CMDB (UCMDB) and facts for these dimensions from various sources like the HP Operations agent, the Profile database, and so on.
OBR performs a "snapshot" collection of a subset of views defined in UCMDB via web services exposed by UCMDB. This collection is scheduled to run every 24 hours by default.
The topology definition of collected CMDB views is stored as a bridge table. The UCMDB collector is capable of collecting CI instances and attributes of all CIs that have valid relationships with a specified CI.
