Description
Micro Focus ArcSight Logger is a universal log management solution that unifies searching, reporting, alerting, and analysis across any type of enterprise log data-making it unique in its ability to collect, analyze, and store massive amounts of data generated by modern networks.
The Logger receives syslog messages from a variety of devices in the enterprise. Micro Focus Network Node Manager i Software (NNMi) users will be interested in a subset of these syslog messages. A set of filters configured within Logger determine which syslog messages to forward to NNMi. Logger forwards these syslog messages using a trap transport mechanism.
The MF Network Node Manager i-MF ArcSight Logger integration adds syslog information to NNMi so that NNMi users can view these syslog messages and investigate potential problems.
