Description
Service Test allows you to create tests that are compatible with Performance Center.
After creating the test in Service Test, you can add it to the list of scripts in the Performance Center Load Test, as you would with any script created with VuGen, Performance Center's script generation tool. You can then assign it virtual users and execute it in a load testing.
When Service Test and VuGen are installed on the same machine, you can create tests that are compatible with Performance Center initially, or convert existing tests to Performance Center compatible tests.
To convert an existing Service Test test to a Performance Center compatible script, click the Enable for Load Testing button on the Service Test toolbar.
There are certain limitations that apply to Load Enabled tests. For example, you cannot call Unified Functional Testing steps, such as 'Call to QuickTest Professional Test'.
Note: In UFT and Service Test 11.50, the terms 'API Test' replaces what was known as 'ST Test', and 'GUI Test' replaces what was known as 'QTP Test'.
