Description
Hyper-V Server 2012 is a hypervisor-based server virtualization product provided by Microsoft. Hyper-V infrastructure technology enables you to virtualize hardware to establish your private cloud environment.
Microsoft System Center 2012 - Operations Manager(SCOM) offers comprehensive monitoring for your datacenter and cloud, both private and public. Microsoft System Center 2012 - Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) is a management solution for the virtualized datacenter, enabling you to configure and manage your virtualization host, networking, and storage resources in order to create and deploy virtual machines and services to private clouds that you have created. The integration with Hyper-V is based on SCOM 2012 SP1 + SCVMM 2012 SP1 private cloud solution. This out-of-the-box data integration imports SCOM+SCVMM data into Executive Scorecard. The data is then combined with other data sources, transformed, analyzed, and loaded as metrics on a series of Executive Scorecard tabs. The SCOM+SCVMM data includes Infrastructure Usage and utilization data.
