Description
Integrating HPE Cloud Service Automation (CSA) with HPE SiteScope involves provisioning a server using VMware vCenter, where SiteScope monitors the server for the availability and collect key performance. The monitors are configured to automatically test the performance and availability of systems and services in the network environment.
SiteScope monitoring includes alerting and reporting capabilities, along with a dashboard for a real-time picture of the monitored environments.
To deploy monitors with similar monitoring configuration criteria across the enterprise, you can define templates, or use preconfigured SiteScope solution templates.
The following SiteScope templates are required for this integration:
CSA template.tmpl (This file should be imported manually only when the CSA template, autoimport.tmpl, fails to import on HP SiteScope server.)
- CSA templates Silver.tmpl
- CSA templates Gold.tmpl
- CSA templates autoimport.tmpl
The templates enable you to develop and maintain a standardized set of monitor types and configurations in a single structure that can be repeatedly deployed and easily updated using global change and replace capabilities, without having to update each object individually.
