Description

The purpose of this integration is to use HPE Service Manager (SM) as an external approval system. You can use Service Manager to implement complex multi-level approval policies.

 

 

SM integrates with CSA's API to extract data from CSA, to help manage the approval processes. When a cloud service offering is requested within CSA, based on the approval type (for example, delegated or automated), the corresponding approval process workflow is triggered by the OO.

For the delegated approval type, OO workflow creates a ticket in HP SM and marks it as 'pending', and notifies the incident manager. Based ont he approval/denial of the ticket manager, OO workflow notifies CSA whether to proceed with the subscription or ignore the subscription.
