Description

This integration between HPE Enterprise Maps (EM) and HPE Cloud Service Automation (CSA) allows users to import and view application components from the CSA overall architecture in EM.

CSA is a source of components, providers, service designs, service offerings, and subscriptions. The EM integration and synchronization with CSA provides useful insights into enterprise architecture. EM can generate views showing architecture aligned with application components from CSA.

After importing and synchronizing CSA Data, you can view CSA-imported data in EM as normal artifacts in the CSA repository and as artifact reports.

You can view imported reports of CSA application components, as well as all imported CSA records as EM Application Component artifacts.

The CSA data is mapped to EM data:

  • Component Types: topology components with type Concrete and Capability, are imported into EM as Deployment Specifications (type:CSA Component)

  • Topology Designs: topology service designs are imported into EM as Infrastructure Services and associated Deployment Specifications (type: CSA Service Design) in CSA Service Designs domain.

  • Abstract topology components and also Sequenced Designs (including sequenced components) are not imported.
