Description

A topology service design in HPE Cloud Service Automation (CSA) is modeled by an Infrastructure Service in HPE Enterprise Maps (EM).

This service along with other model elements such as servers, application components, and system software can be then published to CSA as a real service design.

Publishing from a CSA Reference Service Design:

  • This approach requires a service design that is created in CSA and then imported into EM as a reference model. The reference model is then used to publish the actual model back into CSA.
  • The reference service design must contain a component with the "Capability" Functional Type in CSA. This component acts as a reference component; a place holder which is then replaced by a more concrete one during publishing.
