SMAX - HCM integration 1.0

Use case 1:

Amy, as one R&D engineer, needs to request one new Linux VM from vCenter for her daily work. Knowing that the SMAX Self-Service Portal is integrated with HCM so that end users may request VMs from the Portal directly and that she has access to a variety of self-service support features such as catalog, knowledge, and subscription management for the applications she uses every day, Amy decides to give it a try.

Use case 2:

We will simulate a VM provisioning failure at the HCM side, and one incident will be created in SMAX and linked to the service request submitted previously by Amy. Amy will be notified of the failure, and the system will switch to the incident process to resolve the issue before provisioning a new VM instance for Amy.

Use case 3:

Amy, as an R&D engineer, needs to request one Linux VM from vCenter for her daily testing work. Although she knows she can use the SMAX Service Portal to submit a request, she still wants to use HCM because she is more familiar with HCM.

Use case 4:

Alex will deny the change approval in SMAX for HCM fulfillment, so that the HCM request is also rejected, and no fulfillment will start and no subscription will be created in HCM.

Use case 5:

Alex does not need to approve or deny the change request in SMAX. He only needs to audit the HCM offering fulfillment when monitoring the SMAX-HCM integration each time.
