Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Change Management
Change Management enables you to control changes to baseline service assets and configuration items across the entire service life cycle.
The Service Management Change Management module:

Helps you create and manage requests for change (RFC) to the service assets and configured items registered in your organization's configuration management database.

Provides standard methods and procedures, including out-of-the-box templates and change models, for you to use to implement changes.

Automates the approval process, and eliminates the need for memos, email, and phone calls.

Includes the Change Calendar, which allows you to view, schedule, and manage changes in a Gantt chart.

Includes Change Analytics, which analyzes change management performance, offers insights, and suggests possible methods of improvement.
Note If you work with data domains and you want to manually change existing domain assignments, you must first add the Data domains field to the relevant forms.
