How to retire a time period record

Note  

  • You must have the appropriate permissions to be able to retire a time period.

  • If you retire a time period, it no longer displays in Service Management modules. For example, a retired time period does not appear in the Change Calendar.

To retire a time period record means changing its status, as shown in the workflow snapshot at the top of the time period, from active to retired.

  1. From the main menu, select Plan > Time Period.

  2. Select the time period record.

  3. Click the record identifier in the ID column to display the selected record.

  4. Click Retired icon, then Save.
