Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to create a license model

From the main menu, select Run > Software Asset > License Models.

Click New.

In the New Asset Model dialog box, provide all requested information.
Field Description Model type Type of model. Automatically pre-populated as License. License Type Type of license. Display label External (common) name of the license model. UNSPSC code Relevant UNSPSC code. Brand Brand of the model. Parent model Parent model of the selected license model record. Cost type Type of cost. For example, software. Category If you select this option, the license model is a category. This enables you to categorize a group of license models in one theme.
