How to create a budget record

  1. From the main menu, select Run > Financials > Budgets. The Budgets page is displayed.

  2. Click New icon New.

  3. In the New Budget dialog box, provide all requested information. This dialog box requests values for the basic attributes.

    Field Description
    Title External (common) name of the budget record.
    Description Description that captures the details of the budget record.
    Created by

    Select the name of the user for whom you are creating the budget record.

    You can select the name from the list or type a few characters to search for the name.

    By default, your name is selected.

    Budget center Select the budget center for the budget record.
    Code Internal code for the budget record.
  4. Click Save.

    Alternatively, you can click Save & add another to add another budget record, or click Save & Edit to continue editing the current budget record.
