Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to create and edit a license
Create a trial license
You can create a trial license manually.
- From the main menu, click Licenses.

Click New.

Complete the form with required information. See License details below.

Click Save.
Upload a license key
You can upload a production or evaluation license key to suite.
- From the main menu, select Licenses.

Click Upload licenses on the toolbar.

Select the license mode.

Click Import. You can get a preview of license information and licensable features. Click OK.
Note All suite license files can be uploaded here, supported formats include ov4key and xml. Currently, only Service Management licenses can be managed in Suite Administration, hence only Service Management licenses are shown in the grid, other product component licenses are installed to APLS, you can retrieve and install licensable features in APLS.
Edit a license

From the main menu, select Licenses.

Click the license in the ID column to display the selected license.

Click the tab you want to view or edit. See License details below.

Save the changes.
Note
- License information of a production or evaluation license are read from license key, only name and description can be edited.
- After a trial license is added to license pool, mode and capacity cannot be edited.

License status
You can change the license status between Active and Inactive manually when the license is not added to a license pool.

Retired |
The license status becomes Retired automatically when the license end date arrives.

Add to license pool
Licenses are aggregated in license pools, you can assign multiple licenses in a license pool to one tenant.

From the main menu, select Licenses.

Select one or multiple licenses and click Add to license pool.

Select a license pool and click Add. Licenses with same properties (mode, start date, end date, edition, and access type) are combined into one entry in license pool and the capacities are summed.
