Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to create and edit a license pool
Create a license pool

From the main menu, click License-pools.

Click New.

Enter the name and description.

Click Save.
Edit a license pool

From the main menu, select License-pools.

Click the license pool in the ID column to display the selected license pool.

Click the tab you want to view or edit. See License pool details below. The General tab is displayed by default.

Save the changes.
License pool details

General tab
Field Description ID License pool ID. Name License pool name. Description Description of the license pool.

License tab
This tab displays the licenses added to this pool. For more information on licenses, see Licenses.

Assignment tab
This tab displays the assignments of this license pool.
To add an assignment, click Add, specify the mode, edition, access type, and date, click Filter to get remaining capacity, then you can assign the available capacity to a selected tenant. You can also click Revoke to revoke licenses.
Note The maximum capacity (sum of current capacity and future capacity) can be assigned to a trial tenant is 10. For example, if current capacity of a trial tenant is 3, then you can assign no more than 7 capacity to this tenant.

Tenant tab
This tab displays the tenants assigned with licenses in this pool. For more information, see Tenants.
License pool status
You can change license pool status between Active and Inactive manually.

Licenses can be added to an Active license pool. |
Inactive |
Licenses cannot be added to an Inactive license pool. |
Delete a license pool
You can only delete a license pool with no license added.

From the main menu, select License-pools.

Select the license pool you want to delete.

Click Delete on the toolbar.

Click OK.
