Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

SAML Single Sign-On setup
The SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) setup involves the following components:
- The SM Server and web client (web tier, Service Request Catalog (SRC), or Mobility Client)

The HPE Identity Manager (IdM) service
Note You can use either the IdM service package released with SM or the IdM service embedded in Service Manager Service Portal. The IdM version must be 1.10.x or higher.
- Microsoft ADFS, a third-party Identity Provider (IdP)
Prerequisite
Before you set up SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) in your Service Manager (SM) system, make sure that your system meets the following conditions:
- Has already the SM Server, and client (web tier, SRC, or Mobility Client) installed and running
- Has already Microsoft ADFS installed and running
Setup procedure
The SAML SSO setup procedure includes the following steps:
Create a trust relationship with the IdP
Create an IdM client trust store
Configure IdM authentication in the Service Manager Server
Configure IdM authentication in the Service Manager web tier
Configure IdM authentication in SRC
