A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

How to Define a Tenant Association Rule

The following task describes how to define a Tenant Association rule.

Note This task is only relevant when multi-tenancy is enabled.

Run the New Tenant Association Rule Wizard

In Enrichment Manager, click the small arrow next to the New Enrichment Rule button and select New Tenant Association Rule. Enter the general attributes and base query information on the wizard pages. For details, see New Tenant Association Rule/Tenant Association Rule Properties/Save As Tenant Association Rule Wizard.

Note Make sure to select the Rule is Active check box on the Rule General Attributes page of the wizard to activate the rule.
Build the Rule Query

If you are basing your Tenant Association rule on a new query, build the query by dragging the required CITs onto the canvas and inserting the required relationships.
Update the Owner Tenant of a Selected Query Node

Right-click the query node to be updated by the Tenant Association rule and select Update Owner Tenant. The Update Owner Tenant dialog box opens. Select the method by which to update the owner tenant (By value or By attribute) and select the required parameters for that option. Click OK. For details, see Update Owner Tenant Dialog Box.

Note You can update the owner tenant of more than one query node in the rule.
Update the Consumer Tenants of a Selected Query Node

Right-click the query node to be updated by the Tenant Association rule and select Update Consumer Tenants. The Update Consumer Tenants dialog box opens. Select the method by which to update the consumer tenants (By value or By attribute) and select the required parameters for that option. Click OK. For details, see Update Consumer Tenants Dialog Box.
Note
- You can update the consumer tenants of more than one query node in the rule.
- You can update both the owner tenant and the consumer tenants of the same query node in a single Tenant Association rule.
Save the Rule

Click Save to save the Tenant Association rule. The rule runs according to the frequency defined by its priority.
