Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Applications
An application is an investment of an IT company that implements a business process or function in your organization. An application can be made up of one or more actual services and supports a portfolio or portfolios and has its business value defined.
The following identifies an application:
- An application's business value has been uniquely defined and if possible, aligned with business priorities.
- An application uniquely supports a process or a set of processes (data domains).
- An application requires tracking operational effort at the level the application is managed.
- An application's codes are managed as standalone.
The following are a few examples of applications:
- eShopping
- Security auditor
- Comm center
- Contract manager
Each application has one or more roadmaps defined. Each roadmap has multiple phases and milestones which can be viewed in a timeline.
