Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to Configure Global ID Generation

Launch the Web browser and enter the following address: .

Click UCMDB:service=Multiple CMDB Instances Services to open the JMX MBEAN View page.

Click one of the following methods and enter values as required:
setAsGlobalIdGenerator Specifies that the CMDB will act as the global ID generator for all locally existing scopes setAsGlobalIdGeneratorForScopes Specifies the scopes for which global IDs will be generated setAsNonGlobalIdGenerator Stops the CMDB from acting as the global ID generator for all scopes -
Click Invoke.
Note If you want to check which scopes are currently set, use the getGlobalIdGeneratorScopes method.
