How to delete an actual service record

Service Asset and Configuration Management records are normally not deleted. Only an individual who has the Asset & Configuration Administrator role has default permission to delete a Service Asset and Configuration Management record when it is necessary.

  1. From the main menu, select Build > Service Asset & Configuration.

  2. From SACM Home, select Actual Services.

  3. Select an existing record.

    To filter the record list, click the Add filter  button. For more information, see Filters.

  4. Click Delete icon Delete on the toolbar. Service Management displays a confirmation message.

  5. Click OK.

Note If you synchronize your devices from an external source, you must delete the record from that external source first. Otherwise, each new synchronization process will replace the asset in Service Asset and Configuration Management.
