How to create a budget line record

  1. From the main menu, select Run > Financials > Budget Lines. The Budget Lines page is displayed.

  2. Click New icon New.

  3. In the New Budget line dialog box, provide all requested information. This dialog box requests values for the basic attributes.

    Field Description
    Title External (common) name of the budget line.
    Description Description that captures the details of the budget line.
    Budget type Budget type for the budget line.
    Budget Budget for the budget line.
    Account code Internal code used for accounting.
    Accounting period Accounting period for the budget line.
    Amount The amount of the budget line.
  4. Click Save.

    Alternatively, you can click Save & add another to add another budget line record, or click Save & Edit to continue editing the current budget line record.
