Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Financial Management
Service Management's Financial Management module helps you manage money in an efficient and effective way, so as to align with enterprise strategy and achieve business objectives. It assists with budget planning and the execution, monitoring, and control of financial resources.
The Financial Management module allows you to record or refer to financial details of the following:
- Fixed assets, such as account codes, depreciation, and residual value.
- Reconciled IT assets, including devices, infrastructure and peripherals, and fixed asset licenses.
- Cost centers, such as effective date, manager, and reporting center.
- Cost types
- Financial assets, including budgets, budget centers, budget types, and budget lines.
- Assets related to financial scheduling, including accounting periods and fiscal years.
The module also enables you to set simulation criteria to simulate the possible values for the specified assets after a certain period. With this module, you can view all your assets from a financial perspective.
