Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Overview
AutoPass License Server (APLS) is a web-based solution for managing your Micro Focus software product licenses. It helps you organize and manage your product licenses, server users, and client users. APLS offers centralized license management. It has the capability to show the usage reports for all the product so that you can easily have a clear picture about your metering and billing.
The integration between UCMDB and APLS enables UCMDB to send license usage data to APLS, following APLS data structure.
APLS shall be deployed in your environment, regardless of whether it is a classic or standalone deployment.
How the APLS integration works
The APLS integration enables UCMDB to send license usage data to APLS as follows:
- If both UCMDB and APLS are deployed and configured in your environment, configure UCMDB for one way integration with APLS server.
- UCMDB server connects to APLS server automatically using credential information you provided.

Trigger license usage data push to APLS server by invoking a JMX method on UCMDB server.
