Tenant deployment use case

This use case provides a practical step-by-step guide for tenant deployment.

If your organization wants a tenant for LDAP or SAML IdP users, take the following steps:

Search for	Example	Results
A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

Prepare the license file. For more information about licenses, see Licenses.

Create an account for the customer as described in How to create an account.

On Authentication tab of Accounts page, add LDAP or SAML configuration. For more information, see How to edit an account.

Create a tenant for the account created in step 2 as described in How to create and edit a tenant.

Upload the license file, add the license to a license pool and assign capacity to the tenant just created. For more information, see Licenses and License pools.

Deploy the tenant.
