Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to create a program
You can create a program in the following ways:
In Project and Program Management

From the main menu, select Plan > Project & Program > Programs. Service Management displays a list of programs.

Click New. Service Management displays a New Program dialog box to gather basic information. Service Management does not assign an ID until you save the program.

Complete the following fields:
Field Description Title Enter a title for the program. Description Enter a description that captures the details of the program. Start date Select the date on which the program begins. End date Select the date on which the program ends. Business objective Select a business objective to which this program applies. Business unit Select a business unit to which this program applies. Business value Specify the estimated value that the program brings to the organization (in thousands).
Note The estimated business value should be greater than 0.

Click Save when you are finished.
The program is opened with the General tab displayed.
In Release Management

From the main menu, select Build > Release.

Select the release record from which you want to create a program.

Click the record identifier in the ID column to display the selected record.

Click > Create program from record. Service Management displays the new program form with the values copied from the original record.

Enter the details for the new record, and click Save on the toolbar.
In Change Management

From the main menu, select Build > Change.

Select the change record from which you want to create a program.

Click the record identifier in the ID column to display the selected record.

Click > Create program from record. Service Management displays the new program form with the values copied from the original record.

Enter the details for the new record, and click Save on the toolbar.
