Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Configuring Data Purging
Data collected by the Operations Agent is stored for 172800 seconds (two days) by default. To configure data purging from the command line, follow the steps:
- Log on to the Operations Agent node.

Run the command to set the time interval to purge data:
AutoPurgeIntervalSecs
defines the schedule at which the purge task would get triggered. By default, the purge task is started at 6 AM.On Windows x64 system:
%ovinstalldir%bin\win64\ovconfchg -ns oacore
-set AutoPurgeIntervalSecs <interval>
In this instance,
<interval>
specifies the duration after which data is removed from the metrics data store.<interval>
is always specified in seconds.On Windows x86 system:

-set AutoPurgeIntervalSecs <interval>
On AIX:
/usr/lpp/OV/bin/ovconfchg -ns oacore

To see the set data retention period and data purging interval, run the following command:
