Removing OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager

To remove OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager, complete the following procedure on the Operations Connector host. Steps differ depending on the operating system.

Windows:

Do one of the following:

  • Remove the application by using the Windows Control Panel:

    1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.

    2. In the list of the installed programs, right-click Operations Connector for SAP Solution Manager and select Uninstall.

    3. To start the removal, follow the instructions displayed by the Software Installer, and then click Uninstall.

    4. To close the Software Installer, click Done after the removal completes.

  • Remove the application by directly invoking the Software Installer again:

    1. To start the Software Installer, launch Windows Explorer, locate the following file, and then double-click it:

      HPBsmIntSapSolma_<Version>_setup.exe

    2. To start the removal, follow the instructions displayed by the Software Installer, and then click Uninstall.

    3. To close the Software Installer, click Done after the removal completes.

Linux:

Do one of the following:

  • Remove the application by using the removal script:

    1. Open command shell and change the current directory to <OvInstallDir>/Uninstall/HPBsmIntSapSolma.

    2. To invoke the removal process, run the following command:

      ./setup.bin

  • Remove the application by directly invoking the Software Installer again:

    1. Locate the directory with the unpacked OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager product image.

    2. To start the Software Installer, do one of the following:

      • Double-click the HPBsmIntSapSolma_<Version>_setup.bin file.
      • Open command shell, change the current directory accordingly, and then run the following command:

        HPBsmIntSapSolma_<Version>_setup.bin

    3. To start the removal, follow the instructions displayed in the Software Installer, and then click Uninstall.

      If the removal is invoked from a remote client without X Window System support, it starts in the command-shell mode instead of the graphical mode.

    4. To close the Software Installer, click Done after the removal completes.
