RemoveOpsCx for VROPS

To remove OpsCx for VROPS, complete a procedure on the Operations Connector host. Steps differ depending on the operating system that hosts Operations Connector.

For Windows:

Do one of the following:

  • Remove the application by using the Windows Control Panel:

    1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.

    2. In the list of the installed programs, right-click Operations Connector for VMware vRealize Operations Manager and select Uninstall.

    3. To start the removal process, follow the instructions displayed by the installer program, and click Uninstall.

    4. To close the installer program, click Done after the removal process is complete.

  • Remove the application by directly running the installer program again:

    1. To start the installer program, launch Windows Explorer, locate and double-click the following file:

      HPBsmIntVROps_<Version>_setup.exe

    2. To start the removal process, follow the instructions displayed by the installer program, and click Uninstall.

    3. To close the installer program, click Done after the removal process is complete.

For Linux:

Do one of the following:

  • Remove the application by using the removal script:

    1. Open command shell and change the current directory to /opt/OV/Uninstall/HPBsmIntVROps.

    2. To start the removal process, run the following command:

      setup.bin

  • Remove the application by directly starting the installer program again:

    1. Locate the directory with the unzipped OpsCx for VROPS product image.

    2. Open command shell and change the current directory accordingly.

    3. Run the following command:

      HPBsmIntVROps_<Version>_setup.bin

    4. To start the removal process, follow the instructions displayed in the installer program, and click Uninstall.

      If the removal process is started from a remote client without X Window System support, it starts in the command-shell mode instead of the graphical mode.

    5. To close the installer program, click Done after the removal process is complete.
