Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Configure Email Notifications
This task describes how to configure your system so that you can be sent an overview of events for which you may need to perform some action.
Note Clicking on a link in an email notification on a mobile device opens the UCMDB Browser module.

Make sure that the system administrator has specified the following:
- Your email address. For details, see How to Define an Email Recipient.
- Time and SMTP account information for emails.

Specify notification content and frequency
- Click the User Preferences button. Click Notifications.
- Select the Enable notifications check box.

Do the following:

Select the views for which you want to receive notifications.

Specify the types of items for which you want to receive notifications, and whether or not to received details about these items, or only a summary.
Note If you want to receive direct links to these items in the Review/Authorize module of Configuration Manager, you must choose to receive details.
- Specify the frequency at which you will receive the notifications.

- Click Apply, and then click OK.
