Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

How to Install/Deploy a Discovery and Integration Content Pack
Universal CMDB is released together with the latest version of Discovery and Integration Content Pack. You can install a later Content Pack release by performing the following procedure:

If the required Content Pack is available on the local file system of the UCMDB server, access the Package Manager module. Click to open the Install Package menu.

Click the Content Pack tab.

Click , select the package's files, and then click Install Selected.

UCMDB begins to install the Content Pack.
When installation is complete, a message is displayed with the results of the installation.

If the required Content Pack is not available on the UCMDB server, access it from the ITOM Marketplace site. To access the site: Data Flow Management > UD Community.

Download the zip file and extract it to an accessible location on your drive.
- In the Package Manger > Install Package > Content Pack tab, click the Select file for upload field, select the required content pack from your local file system, click Open, and then click the button to add the content pack on the local file system of the UCMDB server.

Click , select the package's files, and then click Install Selected.

UCMDB begins to install the Content Pack.
When the installation is complete, a message is displayed with the results of the installation.
