Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

UCMDB Home Landing Page
You can remove any content from the UCMDB Home landing page, rearrange or resize the existing widgets, or add new widgets. Also, you can navigate through the available web-based UCMDB modules and access them directly from the left side navigation menu.
To access the UCMDB Home landing page, use one of the following methods:
- Access UCMDB Browser. Once you are logged in, you are on the UCMDB Home landing page.
- In the web browser, type https://<server_name or IP>:<port>/ucmdb-browser/ui in the Address bar and then press Enter. Provide user name and password if required.
- Access UCMDB Browser legacy mode, using the following URL: https://<server_name or IP>:<port>/ucmdb-browser/ucmdb_browser.jsp . On the Search page, click Access the UCMDB Home under the search box.
Important UCMDB Home requires UCMDB Browser 11.0 or later, and UCMDB server 11.0 or later.
