Actual CI state

By default, Service Manager only stores and displays the authorized or managed state of configuration items (CIs). However,the actual state of a CI may differ from the authorized state. You can view the actual state of a CI by creating an integration to an Universal CMDB server. The server utilizes a discovery tool that discovers the actual state of a CI, and then Service Manager displays that discovered state in the Configuration Management database format.
