How to cancel or close a reservation

  1. From the main menu, select Run > Service Request. Service Management displays the list of service requests.

  2. Select the request record that you want to edit.

    To filter the record list, click the Add filter  button. For more information, see Filters.

  3. Click the record identifier in the Id column to display the selected record, or click Edit.

  4. Click the Reservation tab.

  5. In the Reserve assets section, select the reservation.

  6. Click Actions, then Close or Cancel, as required.

    Note  

    • A reservation is closed when the reservation is completed. For example, the reserved asset has been checked out of the stockroom and is in use.

    • A reservation is canceled when the reservation is no longer required. For example, when the reserved asset is not checked out from the stockroom by the end of the reservation period.
