Logging in to Service Management

At the login page, enter your username and password to log into Service Management. The URL of the login page includes a TENANTID. After logging in, the TENANTID disappears from the URL and is stored in a cookie called TENANTID.

Note

  • Make sure that cookies are enabled on your machine before you log in.
  • You must enter a username that belongs to the tenant designated in the URL. If you enter a username that does not belong to the specified tenant, an error is generated and you cannot log in.

When working in Service Management, you can click the arrow in the upper right and select About to open a dialog box, which displays the following details about Service Management:

  • The Service Management version you are running
  • The TENANTID
  • The tenant type (Production, Development, or Trial)

You can also view the TENANTID and tenant type at the bottom of the main menu.
