Removing Remnant Directories and Files

To manually remove the directories and files that Software Installer retains on the system, complete these steps:

  1. On the Operations Connector host, as the administrator user, open a Command Prompt window (command shell) or launch a graphical file manager.

  2. Remove the HPBsmIntOEM subdirectory from each of the following directories:

    <OvDataDir>/conf

    <OvDataDir>/datafiles

  3. Delete the directory for persistency data files. If the product used the default directory location, the directory path is <OvDataDir>/tmp/HPBsmIntOEM.

  4. Delete the Ops Connector for OEM log files. If the product used the default log file location, the log files reside in the <OvDataDir>/log directory.

  5. If there are Operations Connector complements for other systems management applications installed on the Operations Connector host, to manually remove the OEM database user account credentials from the GenInt keystore, run the following commands and press the Enter key when prompted to enter a value:

    genintcrypt -s ora-username

    genintcrypt -s ora-password
