Uninstall

Uninstall or removal of Ops Connector for OEM consists of several tasks. Complete them in the following order (depending on your setup, some of the tasks might not apply):

  1. Deactivate the policies for Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) events, topology, and metrics, and remove them from Operations Connector. See Removing Policies from Operations Connector topic.

  2. Cancel Event Connector registration in OEM and remove it from the OEM host. See Removing Event Connector topic.

  3. Remove the topology synchronization package and the metrics content pack from OMi. See Removing the Topology Synchronization Package and the Metrics Content Pack topic.

  4. Remove the main part of Ops Connector for OEM from the Operations Connector host. See Removing Operations Connector for Oracle Enterprise Manager topic.

  5. Manually remove the remnants. See Removing Remnant Directories and Files topic.

If you intend to reuse the current configuration of Ops Connector for OEM as part of a future reinstall or product upgrade, back up all relevant data before starting the removal process. In the backup image, make sure to include the integration configuration files, the applicable Operations Connector policies, and the files with SQL queries. For details, see Backing up the Configuration topic.
